A 77-year-old Libby man was killed Wednesday morning when he lost control of his vehicle and hit an oncoming truck near Kila.
The Flathead County Sheriff has identified the victim as Roy Bumgarner.
According to the sheriff, Bumgarner was driving east when he lost control of his vehicle on the icy road and crossed into the path of a westbound vehicle. Bumgarner was not wearing a seatbelt at the time and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other people were transported to the hospital but their condition is unknown as of Wednesday afternoon.
