HELENA – U.S. Rep.-elect Ryan Zinke has been assigned to the House Armed Services and Natural Resources committees.
Zinke, who will take office in January, said he was honored that the House Steering Committee assigned him to those committees.
Montana is home to Malmstrom Air Force Base, and Zinke is a retired Navy SEAL commander.
Zinke tells Lee Newspapers of Montana that natural resources are critical to the state.
