Montana West Economic Development is hosting the 13th annual Economic Future of the Flathead event on Jan. 28 at Flathead Valley Community College.
The event begins at 8 a.m. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. Presenters will discuss job growth and real estate figures for 2014 and forecasts for this year.
Brad Eldredge from FVCC will present a forecast for annual job growth and discuss risks facing the local economy in 2015.
Ellie Clark with Clark Real Estate Appraisal and Barbra Bennett with Bennett Apprraisal Services will recap the 2014 residential and commercial real estate market and look at what is likely to come this year.
There will also be an update on the proposed rail park and Core Area Revitalization Project in Kalispell, along with other economic development plans.
Tickets for the event are $20 per person and can be purchased online.
