Burglary Tools

8:11 a.m. An employee of an Evergreen coffee stand pepper sprayed a repeat offender who ran off with her tip jar.

9:05 a.m. The owner of an Evergreen business reported that a loitering and likely stoned man wearing a backpack full of “burglary tools” was casing his store and others in the area.

10:17 a.m. A Kila resident received approximately twenty harassing phone calls from an unknown number.

12:17 p.m. Someone from an Evergreen business called in to reported that the strange guy left his bag of burglary tools behind.

2:17 p.m. Someone found a green bike that had been chucked in to a snowbank off of U.S. Highway 2 East.

4:24 p.m. A hound dog trailing a long leash was seen following a teenaged girl down East Evergreen Drive.

6:14 p.m. A Rockwood Drive resident reported that the neighbor’s dogs, about a dozen or so, were loose and in his yard again.

10:10 p.m. Someone spotted thee young men drinking alcohol while driving down U.S. Highway 93 in Whitefish.

2:28 a.m. An employee of a local store reported that he had detained four intoxicated kids who were hanging out around the store. They were soon after picked up by non-intoxicated family members.
