Bigfork Boys Advance to Western B Divisional Title Game

Sandry, Martel combine for 34 points in semifinal win over Florence

Isaac Martel and Josh Sandry combined for 34 points and the Bigfork Vikings dropped Florence 61-50 in the semifinal round of the Western B Divisional basketball tournament on Friday.

The Vikes (21-1) advanced to Saturday’s championship game against Missoula Loyola (18-3) at 8:45 p.m. at Flathead High School.

Martel scored 19 points and Sandry added 14 against Florence. Jon Landon chipped in 12 for the Vikes.

Kevin Swanson scored 32 points and Loyola defeated Deer Lodge 73-57 in the other semifinal game.
