Volunteers Needed for Nation’s Largest Equestrian Triathlon

Volunteers can work as scribes, jump judges, ring stewards, hospitality assistants, and much more

By Beacon Staff

The 14th annual Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell features competition with nearly 600 equestrians in dressage, cross-country, and show jumping July 23-26. Hundreds of volunteers are needed to run an event of this caliber and organizers seek new community members for this fun and rewarding experience. Prior to The Event on July 22, the USEA Young and Future Event Horse Series will be featured and volunteers are needed for this as well.

During the four days of competition, thousands of spectators come to see some of the finest riders in the nation, as well as promising young competitors. Admission is free, with full concessions and trade fair all four days.

Volunteers get up-close to the action and no experience is necessary for most positions. Volunteers can work as scribes, jump judges, ring stewards, hospitality assistants, and much more.

Lunch and t-shirts are provided and volunteers can work as much or as little as time allows, from just a half-day shift to the entire event. To sign up as a volunteer, visit www.rebeccafarm.org/Volunteer or call (406) 253-1862.
