Runaway Dog

8:55 a.m. Someone in Columbia Falls caught a German shepherd and put it in their backyard.

9:12 a.m. A dog on Ridgewood Drive barked all night long.

11:44 a.m. A woman on Reserve Court reported that an acquaintance of hers drove by her home and shot his gun several times into the dirt. The suspect denied the accusation.

12:07 p.m. Reportedly, someone has been illegally dumping horse and pig manure onto Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse.

1:20 p.m. A man riding his bike down Mountain Drive reported that a “short, chunky” guy with red hair pulled alongside him, brandished his gun, and stated that he was under arrest. Luckily, the victim rode off and “ditched” the violent red-head without injury or fake arrest.

5:26 p.m. One firework was heard near Tamarack Terrace in Lakeside.

6:00 p.m. Someone found a rifle at the bottom of the river while fishing near Bear Creek.

8:20 p.m. Someone found a ski mask between two dumpsters and wondered if it was related to a recent burglary in Polson.

9:23 p.m. A Lakeside man reported that his neighbor’s niece attempted, but failed to run him over in her two-tone green station wagon.
