Harassment Suspect

6:32 a.m. A Columbia Falls man reported that the burglar he chased away from his house fired two gunshots as he ran down the driveway. In return, the resident fired eight to nine shots back. No one was injured, nothing was missing, and there was no sign that any shots were actually fired by the would-be burglar.

8:16 a.m. Eight horses were loose and running down Highway 35 in Kalispell.

9:30 a.m. A Hungry Horse woman reported that a man was in the woods, chasing and harassing her. Deputies found the accused man lying on his couch, claiming that he was physically unable to move.

9:58 a.m. An unrestrained child was seen dangling her arms out the back window of a truck, reaching for the dog.

10:22 a.m. A window of a vacation rental in Hungry Horse was shot out with a pellet gun.

11:54 a.m. A runaway border collie was picked up on Cheery Lynn Road and returned to its backyard.

11:54 am. Someone traveling down Meridian Road reported that the driver of a red vehicle attempted to cut him off.

12:18 p.m. Two more wandering border collies were spotted on Whalebone Road.

12:20 p.m. Someone spotted a black Lab walking across a bridge in Hungry Horse.

12:39 p.m. A llama who had wandered away from home was found on Smalls Lane.

5:09 p.m. Someone found a bag full of brown stuff on Palmer Drive.
