Soda Burglar

8:09 a.m. Someone witnessed two men in a red canoe rummaging through the bushes along Highway 93 North. Apparently, they found some sort of white chest, put it in their boat, and floated away.

8:56 a.m. A business owner on Highway 2 West caught a highly motivated man attempting to burglarize his Coke machine.

10:19 a.m. The batteries of a bark collar belonging to an excitable dog died, irritating at least one neighbor.

10:50 a.m. Something that might be a Dalmatian was picked up in Whitefish and taken to the animal shelter.

12:44 p.m. A man on Dusty Trails Lane found that one of his No Trespassing signs had been cut in half.

1:35 p.m. A Somers man found evidence of vandalism and trespassers on his property. An animal warden determined that the guilty individuals were game animals and that it was these animals that were responsible for the man’s damaged fence.

7:04 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident reported that the neighbor’s decrepit goat was loose and in his yard.

8:17 p.m. Someone reported that four hooded men were hanging out near the sewer area on Nicholson Drive.

10:59 p.m. A security guard at a local car dealership reported that someone in a burgundy pickup was parked in the lot. Apparently, this person was enjoying some no-pressure car shopping.
