Wayward Bear

7:58 a.m. A scruffy white poodle type dog was spotted dodging traffic on Whalebone Drive.

8:17 a.m. A Somers resident complained that the neighbor’s trampoline blew into their yard and damaged a few things.

8:59 a.m. A resident on Sunset Terrace reported that someone lit a small fire on his porch, rang the doorbell, then ran off.

9:19 a.m. A woman on Fairmont Road reported that the neighbors routinely disturb her sleep with their extreme noise making abilities. She stated that this has been going on for approximately eight months.

10:48 a.m. A woman on West Cottonwood Drive reported that several kids were outside playing with a bear that had wandered into her yard. The bear and the kids were gone when a deputy arrived.

11:17 a.m. A local woman was bitten by her own cat.

2:27 p.m. An employee of a Kalispell business reported that every week, twice a week, the same woman calls the store and screams at employees. A deputy attempted to contact the irritated woman, but her phone had been disconnected.
