BOZEMAN — Gallatin County officials have identified a person killed in a Bozeman fire as a 44-year-old woman.

Coroner’s officials said Thursday that Rosanna Yvette De La Cruz was found dead in her partially burned apartment on Wednesday.

The coroner’s statement did not list a cause of death and said the case is under investigation.

Deputy Fire Chief Greg Megaard previously said that someone walking a dog reported the fire at about 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Two dogs in the apartment survived. One was unconscious, but responders were able to revive it. The dog was taken to a veterinarian for treatment.
