Photographers from around the world set their sights on Glacier National Park every year and some of the most dramatic photos are made in the cold of winter.

On Saturday, Feb. 27, the Glacier Institute and instructor Rick Sheremeta are presenting a daylong photography workshop at Apgar. Beginners and experts alike will learn something new during this event that will start at the Apgar Education and Training Center at 9 a.m.

After a slideshow and discussion, the class will head outside to make photos. Snowshoes and your own photography gear are required. Back in the classroom, participants will be able to look at their photos and get a critique. The class will end by 4 p.m.

The class costs $65. To register or find more information visit www.glacierinstitute.org.
