Flathead Valley Community College’s Theatre Arts Department continues the 2016 season with a production of Jane Anderson’s dramatic comedy, “Defying Gravity.”

Performances begin at 7 p.m. on March 24-26 in the FVCC Theatre located inside the Arts and Technology Building. Tickets are available at the FVCC Bookstore, online at www.fvcc.edu and at the box office on show nights.

“Defying Gravity” is loosely based on the 1986 space shuttle Challenger disaster and takes a close look at humans’ inherent need to explore, question and push ourselves past the point of no return. According to FVCC Associate Professor of Theatre Rich Haptonstall, “Anderson artfully interweaves the past, present, art, science, religion, truth, fiction, comedy and tragedy in an attempt to illuminate our never-ending quest for answers.”
