Ali Williams’ amazing senior season continues.

The Glacier ace notched her second perfect game of the year on Tuesday, striking out 20 batters with only 77 pitches in seven innings against Butte.

Williams allowed only one ball into play, a ground-out in the fourth inning. The perfect game was her second this season and sixth no-hitter in her remarkable prep career.

Glacier blanked Butte 6-0 in the first game of a double-header and followed up with an exciting comeback win in the second game after Erin McHugh belted a two-out, walk-off grand slam in the seventh. Christine Connolly added a homerun and three RBI, Anna Schrade knocked in two runs and Glacier won 12-9, improving to 12-5 overall, 9-2 in the West.

The Wolfpack, the defending state champs, are rising in the standings as the season winds down and sit second in Western AA behind Missoula Big Sky (15-2, 10-1). The AA state tournament is May 26-28 in Kalispell.

Williams leads the team in batting average at .458 with 17 RBI and 10 homeruns. Alivia Atlee is hitting .417 with nine RBI and two homers and Schrade is hitting .323 with five RBI.

Williams, a Carroll College recruit, also leads the state in strikeouts with 204 in 110 innings pitched. The next best pitcher has 96.
