The Columbia Falls City limits sales represented 5.8 percent of the overall residential market with 98 home sales, which is the most that have ever sold in the city limits. This is an 8.9 percent increase in the number of sales from what it was in 2015.
This January, there are 10 homes that are on the market within the city limits compared to 31 in January of 2016 and 32 in January of 2015. With 10 current listings, this represents 1.2 months of inventory compared to 6.1 months of inventory in Flathead County. Last year at this time there was 4.1 months inventory in Columbia Falls.
Foreclosure and distressed sales are about the same as they were last year at this time.
