Dead Chickens

7:51 a.m. A driver on Highway 35 was leaning out their window screaming and flipping the bird at another driver. The reporting party thought the driver was overreacting and should probably chill out.

10:28 a.m. A teenager in Columbia Falls shot himself in the leg.

11:55 a.m. A Columbia Falls woman reported that her landlord had thrown out all of her stuff. The landlord said he thought the woman had moved out and just forgotten to take her stuff. The landlord added that it was “dumpster stuff” anyway.

3:23 p.m. A “transient camp starter kit” was reported on U.S. Forest Service land.

3:55 p.m. A Whitefish woman reported that she yelled at her son for drinking two beers. The son refused to stop, however, because he allegedly believed she was being hypocritical because she was also day drinking.

4 p.m. An Olney man reported that his new passport was found at the dump. He believes that it was stolen out of his mailbox.

4:41 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that he went out to feed his chickens and they were all dead.

4:51 p.m. A local man’s new Apple Watch misdialed 911 again.

5:36 p.m. A Bigfork couple going for an afternoon jog had some incentive to speed up when the neighborhood dog started chasing them.
