Researchers to Trap Grizzly, Black Bears in Yellowstone

Biologists will be trapping the bears in remote locations

BOZEMAN — Researchers will be trapping grizzly and black bears Sunday in Yellowstone National Park.

The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports biologists will be trapping the bears in remote locations not near hiking trails or backcountry camping.

The Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team announced the trapping.

Signs warning the public will be posted around the perimeter of trapping areas.
