The owners of Sea Me Paddle Kayaking Tours in Lakeside have opened a sibling company in Somers called Spoke and Paddle.
The grand opening for the rental shop, which will offer bike, kayak, and stand-up paddle board rentals as well as lodging, will be on June 10 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Owners BJ and Joli Johnson recently purchased the building previously known as Trevon Baker Photography Studio located at 10 Somers Rd. on the corner of U.S. Highway 93 S and Somers Road.
Lodging will be offered as a three-bedroom, two-bath, fully furnished and equipped vacation rental. The lodge comfortably sleeps eight guests. Guests staying at the lodge will receive a 20 percent discount on all of rentals as well as kayak lake tours.
