Seeley Lake Hosts Bob Marshall Music Festival

This event is, at its heart, a celebration of community

By Beacon Staff

This year’s Bob Marshall Music Festival in Seeley Lake comprises three full days of music, activities, and good food and drink. The festival features musicians like Deer Tick, HONEYHONEY, Ballroom Thieves, Jeffrey Foucault, National Park Radio, Bird of Chicago, Winter Carpenters, and many more. When you’re not rocking out to music, you can partake in events as varied as a 50K trail run, mountain bike and paddleboard races, beer gardens, farmers’ markets and visits to a slackline park or wilderness saloon.

This event is, at its heart, a celebration of community, which is evidenced by its environmental education and conservation presentations and its communal music jam sessions around Seeley Lake. Many of the activities are hosted and sponsored by local nonprofit organizations.

Concertgoers can camp out on the festival grounds from Thursday to Saturday night for $20 per person. The festival starts on July 13 at 3:30 p.m. and runs until the morning of July 16, which features a free worship service and live music.
